For developers
For developers
One endpoint returns a verdict and a label on each sentence. An MCP server makes the same call from Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor.
Three things to handle
Check for Not scored before anything else, render sentences from the returned array instead of slicing your own input, and allow for a slow first check.
- Not scored under 50 words; weak under 150
- Offsets index a normalised copy of the text
- The first check after a quiet spell can take longer
A run on every reading
Each response names the detector run that produced it, so a stored result can be read later against the right model card.
MCP as well
The same call is offered as an MCP tool for Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor, with the same key and the same limits.
Start with a paper you know.
Paste something you know a person wrote, such as your own writing, and see what our detector marks in it. It is free to start, with 2,000 words a day, or 1,000 papers a month with a verified school email.
