Where it applies
Our detector reads English academic and student writing. It is not built or tested for other languages or other kinds of writing, such as fiction or news copy.
Check at submission
Send manuscripts through the API as they arrive, and read the marked passages on the ones that come back flagged.
Ask before deciding
A flag from our detector is a reason to look closer. It is not proof that anyone cheated. If your policy allows AI help that is disclosed, a flag tells you which authors to ask.
Start with a paper you know.
Paste something you know a person wrote, such as your own writing, and see what our detector marks in it. It is free to start, with 2,000 words a day, or 1,000 papers a month with a verified school email.
